Finally Moving by Pretty Lights

There's nothing like a beautiful feel-good track. I'm definitely one to appreciate music, and I've never heard a song that makes me so happy. I first heard this song on Thursday... the weather was amazing, I was chilling in shorts and a singlet, and all my windows were open. It was the perfect song to match the warm air, and even though the weather's getting sucky again... the song still gives that chilled summer vibe.

Check it out. You won't regret it :) X

Cream, Chocolate, Blue and Beige

I've always loved simple colours, especially in Autumn and Winter. This colour combination is probably my favourite at the moment... not really the best thing since Spring is meant to be all about bright colours. But hey. In other news, my hair is getting worse and worse by the day when it comes to regrowth... and I am SO sick of it. It's long, too light and ugh. I love the girl's hair (above) so I'm thinking of chopping it up to that length. And dying it a warm, dark, chocolate brown... none of this orange business. The amount of times I've told my hairdresser to UN-orange my hair... and it just fails. So hopefully I'll be able to show you my brand new hair in the next couple of weeks.

In other news, I'm on air today from 5pm on Saturday Vibe so make sure you tune in! You can dial to 100.1FM on your radios or go to SaturdayVibe.com to listen live. We take song requests, so you can Facebook us or text them to 0405 404 500. Ciao! X

Freebies Galore

Special thanks to Sophia at MoulinFrock and Rimmel for this gift pack! I received it in the mail today and I'm so excited to use the stuff inside... the colours are lovely and bright and I'm so ready for spring/summer! (Especially since the weather was so beautiful today... my window has been open since 10am!)

Also special thanks to my MOTHER who spent SO much money on Estee Lauder products that she actually got all these freebies which she kindly donated to my "all my make up has run out and I'm too poor to buy" more fund.

I also indulged in purchasing another magazine today... Vogue! It's so huge, and fat, and I can't wait to get stuck in to flicking through the lovely pages. I had seriously forgotten how amazing magazines were. I think I went through that phase were Dolly and Girlfriend were way too lame, and my mum didn't let me buy Cosmo or Cleo. I'm totally back into magazines now, though.

The weather today was so lovely I couldn't resist going for a walk in my massive backyard which I spent like, most of my childhood. Took some pictures. Including my neglected trampoline... I should go have a jump sometime. Getting creative with my new SLR, haha.

That's all from me today, adios! X

Spring Inspiration

Absolutely in LOVE with these colours. Sorry about the crappy quality, I've taken pics of these pages from SHOP mag to share with you all. Not sure if it's the fact that my school house colours were navy and gold that creates this familiarity... but nevertheless, I love the way these colours have been put together. Fell in love with the knit jumper as soon as I saw it (look familiar?) and when I realised it wasn't $1449 like the jacket in the third pic that I also love, I knew I had to buy it. Maybe one day I'll be rich enough to afford that jacket though. Who the heck knows. X

Gold and Mustard

Rings (set of 3) from Diva $14.95

Peace necklace from Dotti $17.95

Ring from Diva $9.95

Mustard knit from Dotti ($20 off) $39.95

I bought SHOP magazine for the first time a couple of days ago, and yes I am definitely addicted. The magazine seems to never end, and it's full of great ideas of stuff to buy. Even though half of it is out of my price range. Anyway, the September issue fuelled this most recent shopping trip. I decided to invest in some gold jewellery since usually I only wear silver. I'm pretty stoked.

Mulberries

Sorry for being a bit slack with blogging. Not that I have, like, a thousand readers or anything... but for anyone who cares haha. I've been really busy CONTEMPLATING what DSLR to purchase. I thought it was time to buy one since I am going on holidays at the end of this year. Plus I want to take prettier photos in general. Plus everyone has one and that kind of makes me feel like I want one too. I'm sure you can all relate.

It's usually pretty damn dark in my room so the fact that this came out so light is amazing. Also, in the above picture you'll notice my index finger. And my nail is a different colour. SHOCK HORROR, yes, as in other news, I got my nails done today. It was a pretty tough decision between this beautiful mulberry colour, black or a traditional french manicure. I ended up going with the mulberry. Just because it's a gorgeous deep pink/purple. I was getting kind of sick of having french tips. It matches my wall as well.

As you can see my new Canon DSLR is fostering my creative side when it comes to taking photos. But yes, this is my new nail colour. To comfort myself when getting this done today, I also bought the OPI black shatter nail polish incase I got bored.

The shatter looks excellent on the mulberry. I tried it out but then decided to take it off cause I just wasn't over the amazing colour.

But yes, start expecting lots of photos... I think I'm addicted to this SLR.

P.S. Uni is taking over my life, brb drowing in assignments.
